Privateer Bikes at the EWS

The Privateer Bikes Team

The Enduro World Series kicked off in style this year. The beautiful & sunny (that makes a change) Tweed Valley, Scotland, set an amazing backdrop for this year's event. Hunt Mountain and Privateer Bikes were there en masse, and we felt privileged to be part of the action, not only with having a few badass racers on our bikes and being able to support them in person, but to experience the atmosphere and meet loads of fresh faces.

The Privateer Bikes racers were raring to get going and they put in a seriously good shift out on the course, taking multiple podiums and impressing the cheering crowds, we thought we'd share with you some of the key highlights, shots and quotes from our riders.

Fergus and Kerry pre race chat
Kerry on the podium spraying champagne

Kerry is the current Scottish Downhill Champion and decided the EWS 100 would be her first ever enduro race. Not only was Kerry ecstatic to have completed the entire course, but she was super stoked to have been called to the podium for a 3rd place medal! Well done Kerry!

Fergus Ryan racing

"The first round was great fun but not without its struggles, I really enjoyed the more open tracks and showed good pace on those stages but struggled to take this into the tighter trees of Innerleithen! Other than that an amazing first week of racing with the Hunt/Privateer team”

Fergus Ryan

Ollie Mckenna hitting a feature
Wes fife racing

Oli Mckenna smashed the EWS 80 race taking an awesome First place podium in the masters category on his Privateer 161, safe to say Oli was chuffed with this win and a big shout out to Wes Fife for his killer run!

To all the other riders on a Privateer – you all smashed it, well done from everyone at Privateer Bikes.
